- About AoC Custom UI Patcher
This tiny application handle the work of putting the new Version number in the custom XML files each time a patch appears. I guess in the beginning of AoC we will see patches very often, so for me the idea of editing a dozend of files manual each time is a horror.
This tool is very simple it automaticly get the current version number out of the default GUI XML files and aply this version to the custom GUI xml files. So after the launcher patched the Gameclient just run this tool and all your custom GUI Skins are back working.

rkoelsch saidIt works good for me except I want to be able to use my custom UI on the testlive server but the patcher only accepts the original path. Is there a way to input the path instead of letting it find it?

Blayzeee saidI've tried a few versions, I keep getting errors.
When I downloaded MirageUI and followed all of the steps, I didn't see anything in-game but a load of XML script errors. I was told to download this and run it after every patch. When I did, I get the same problems as sanchyna. I extract the files and try to run the program, it continually says application fails to initialize.

sanchyna saidNeither version works for me. Application failed to initialize. All I can do is close it, that's it.

Chrissy1992 saidYay! great patch! worked fine for me with a normal installation to c:/program files/funcom/age of conan. Had an initial problem with frameworks 3.5 installation, but this worked on 2nd attempt. Great patch! Now I can actually play the game now again! (I REFUSE to play without a custon UI since the default AOC UI sucks so badly!!)

ladynikon saidIt works great for me but I think its not updating correctly. Every UI I apply this doesnt look right. The placement of the buttons is off :(.

KC20blades saidDidn't work for me. just says error running couldn't find path.
EDIT: decided to try it again and it worked like a charm. I believe it only updates files that are in the customized folder.

Felyza saidOMG I found a bug! Its a piece of... new software. ;)
I put a ticket in via the curseforge system. Turns out to not like the really long name files, ie FadeInFadeOutView.xml. It strips the patch number only. Works with the rest I've tested though.
I agree with Brillig's comment as well, it should present an option to select install path for those of us with alternate installations (not just one install). A listbox+textbox/combobox with add/remove install path, save/load paths to ini would be easiest method I can think of. (Just throwing that out there if you're starved for ideas on how to accomplish it =)

drypulse saidi dl'd the 3.5 .net framework and it still won't patch the new version numbers... am i missing something with the instalation? where it needs to be installed or a target command line i need to setup or somethin?

Brillig saidCan't get it to patch an alternate installation of AoC. It takes the directory path from the registry just fine. But you can't change it. Yeah, there's a screen that looks like you can, but it doesn't 'take'.
